Love in Paradise: Alana and Darren’s Dream Destination Wedding in St. Lucia

In 2020, two nurses, Alana and Darren, had a Covid wedding in their backyard. However, they always dreamt of having their Dream Destination wedding in St. Lucia, and two years later, their dream finally came true! With only 25 of their loved ones present with some family coming from Trinidad, they even made sure that our team felt welcomed and like part of the family during their magical week-long celebration at the Royalton Resort in Saint Lucia.

The Wedding Day

On the initial evening of their island getaway, the couple hosted a warm welcome gathering for their esteemed guests. The following day, everyone indulged in leisurely moments by the pool, unwinding and making arrangements for the momentous occasion of Alana and Darren’s wedding day. Meanwhile, our team explored around the resort to find the best locations for creative photos for the wedding day.

On their special day, surrounded by loved ones, the couple got ready at the resort before heading out to the ceremony location on the island. Darren’s tears of joy moved everyone as they read their personal letters. And then, a rainbow appeared during the ceremony at the Ancient Ruins on Pigeon Island. So magical! The setting was breathtaking with golden chairs, tropical plants, and a glass walkway. Amidst nature and ancient ruins, they exchanged vows surrounded by their closest loved ones. We captured these once-in-a-lifetime moments for the sweet couple. It was truly the perfect day!

The Reception

Our team captured every moment of their big day, including a quick creative on Pigeon Island after the ceremony, surrounded by colourful architecture, and a walk on the beach during blue hour to capture some intimate moments. Creative sessions were a must during this Dream Destination wedding in St.Lucia! Alana’s grandparents shared their first dance during the reception after 67 years of marriage after not getting the chance to have their special moment on their big day years ago. It was such a sweet heartfelt moment to witness! Their lively reception was followed by an after-party where they danced the night away. Even our photographers joined in!

The Island Tour

The day after the wedding, the couple and their guests went on an island boat tour to enjoy the landscapes and beaches of St. Lucia. They went snorkelling, saw dolphins, went on a hike, and even took mud baths. Our team came along for every part of the adventure to capture all their fun moments on the island. We even captured drone shots of the island from above!

Alana and Darren’s Dream Destination wedding in St. Lucia was a true example of true love that can conquer all, and inspire those around them. It was a magical week of celebration, surrounded by their loved ones, breathtaking views, and touching moments. Our team was honoured to capture every tear, smile, and laugh, and we wish Alana and Darren a lifetime of happiness together!

Jade and Steve met when they were in university and have been together for over 9 years so they know each other pretty well. They’ve travelled the world, trying all kinds of food so all the memories that they enjoyed as a couple created a wedding that was unique and stayed true to who they were. This meant that planning their wedding was a collection of their life experiences together.

The idea for their wedding was inspired by what a ’50s-era cocktail party in Los Angeles would be like. They chose ivory, silver and tropical green as their colour palette and wanted their day to be full of tropical leaves (and huge monstera leaves at that!), old fashioned cocktails and beautiful jazz and samba music. Because they loved the city, they looked for an urban space that showed off the heart of Toronto. Malaparte’s rooftop terrace was the perfect venue because it fit the overall feel of the wedding. The vibrant green plants pops against the white backdrop and cityscape, bringing nature and city together.

More importantly, they wanted their wedding photos to be full of real emotion, to show the moment as it happened, which is exactly what we strive to do. There was laughter, tears, hugs and kisses and we made sure to capture it all.

It was truly special to be part of Jade and Steve’s celebration. We’re incredibly grateful that they chose us to be their photographers and we wish them all the happiness and love in the next phase of their lives together.

Sierra-Maria and Andrew’s road to wedded bliss started off with extravagance, so it’s no surprise their Arlington Estate Wedding was the same.

These two love-birds originally met when they were just 8 years old. It took a few years, but their friendship and the eventual relationship started while they both attended York University. After 3 years of dating, Andrew popped the question after a romantic scavenger hunt led Sierra-Maria running around the city to find him. Straight out of a romance novel!

When meeting with them, we knew that Sierra-Maria and Andrew were super special. The light they give off when talking about each other is truly magical. And yes, I did cry at their wedding. There’s nothing better than being able to capture, true, raw love. And that’s what Sierra-Maria and Andrew have. In addition to being totally in love, they’re also very cool, breezy people. They have a classic, elegant vibe to them and we decided to reflect that in their wedding photography. Sierra-Maria and Andrew both love the colour white. So, that was our starting point. We focused on a bright, natural, and crisp look for their Arlington Estate wedding.

And nothing is as bright, natural, and crisp as their wedding day decor. Andrew and Sierra-Maria made it a point to bring the outdoors indoors for the reception and ceremony. Both of their venues happened to be indoors.  But, that didn’t stop them from having the garden wedding of their dreams. Not a single jaw was left un-dropped when Sierra-Maria and Andrew’s guest walked into their Arlington Estate wedding. Full of whimsy and beauty, their rose-filled reception was a showstopper. They had floral and drapery installations on tables, floors, ceilings, vases, and more. Their rockstar vendors absolutely rocked their theme! Big shout out to Rachel A. Clingen Design and Sincerely Yours Event Planning for making Sierra-Maria and Andrew’s indoor garden possible. Though Arlington Estates has the most beautiful outdoor gardens and fountains, we couldn’t help but use the indoor spaces for portraits. Why only have a flower wall when you can have a whole room??

Though these two’s decor and floral arrangements were bomb-dot-com, we didn’t let them take away from the bride and groom. We made sure to make Sierra-Maria and Andrew the focal point of every photograph. Rather than letting their wedding ambience overpower them in photos, we wanted to highlight them and their love. Let backdrops be backdrops, and let your couple work it! No amount of flowers will ever be able to trump the love of your smitten newlyweds. Pro tip: don’t be afraid to shoot with your background out of focus. It may be just what you need to calm down a busy shot and highlight your in-focus lovers! We were able to get the best of both worlds while shooting this Arlington Estate wedding.

Sierra-Maria is a teacher and has always had a love of children. Son, it’s no surprise they were accompanied down the aisle by the sweetest bunch of little cuties. They were all adorable and perfectly matched Sierra-Maria’s Ines Di Santo dress and Andrew’s Garrison Bespoke ensemble. Photographing children can be tricky at times! But this squad of youngsters were total pros. If present at the wedding, always try and have a child’s parent or guardian around when taking photographs of them. This will help them keep calm and cool while you get your shots. Kids love a familiar face to look at, and parents always know what to say to make them laugh. Nothing is better than a big group shot with everyone smiling.

Sierra-Maria and Andrew’s stunning garden flurry of a wedding is one I’ll keep looking back on. From the flowers to the smiles, every part was perfect and so magical to be a part of. When working with such genuine people, it’s hard not to get attached! I wish I could have kept following them around and photographing their escapades while on their honeymoon. We’ll definitely be gushing about their Arlington Estate wedding for years to come. We wish you two all the best as you continue your lives together! We’re so happy to have been along for the ride.

Lucie and Jon’s Muskoka wedding will make you re-think everything you thought you knew about the “cottage country”.

We were super honoured to join Lucie and Jon at their Muskoka wedding. J + L met through mutual friends and timed their big day perfectly. Their wedding fell 3 days after their 7 year anniversary. No wonder their wedding was such a blast; it was basically a party for two occasions!

Family is a huge part of Jon and Lucie’s lives together, so they knew that family would also play a big part in their wedding day. To honour his family and his upbringing, Jon and Lucie decided to have their wedding on the property of Jon’s childhood home. When you think of Muskoka, you think cottage life.  This estate is everything but! With vast ceilings and a timeless modern vibe, the family’s humble abode stuns on and off-camera. The best feature of the house was the gorgeous tree swing in the front year that we were able to use for the sweetest pictures of Jon and Lucie. They spent a lot of time at the property together early on in their relationship, so it added a little extra specialness to their day. Home really is where the heart is, especially for these two love birds.

Jon and Lucie have both worked really hard to get to where they are today. Jon followed in his father’s footsteps and works for Hydro One, while Lucie works at a pharmaceutical company. Though these two work hard, they also make sure they have time to play hard too. J + L love to travel together on their off time and were sure to make their honeymoon a priority. They planned to jet off to a dream-worthy getaway to Europe and the Maldives. I asked if I could tag along, but I don’t quite fit in a carry-on bag.

Lucie and Jon were super candid with us throughout our entire time working together. It was so fun, and we really dig having a personal connection and deep understanding with all of our couples. After shooting their engagement photos at Scarborough Bluffs, we couldn’t wait to get started on capturing the nuptials. The couple let us know early on that they liked a more candid approach to wedding photography. Us too! We utilized this throughout their entire day. Rather than going off a specific shot list, we let the day and the moments flow and captured what felt right for us and for Jon and Lucie. We’re obsessed with the result. Their fresh, lush, and timeless decor in every location of their wedding was the perfect backdrop for stunning pictures. Plus, it was a beautiful day weather-wise, and we used all of the warm, natural light to our advantage. They wanted a light, romantic feel to their wedding gallery, which was easily achievable.

Jon and Lucie also told us that they wanted their wedding to be as personal and unique as possible. Their big day included 200 of their favourite family and friends. The two put a lot of work into creating a wedding space from scratch that would still feel intimate despite their high guest count. And it was a success! From the lush forest landscape to their luxe tented reception, they were able to hit all the marks. And the best part was that they were still able to keep the day super personal for themselves and comfortable for all of their guests.

One of our favourite parts of Jon and Lucie’s wedding was their cat, Leo. Yep, you read that right, their cat! Leo made a special appearance for the family photographs which added so much personality to their pictures. What I love about wedding photography is looking at a single picture and immediately knowing the vibe and personality of the couple in it. I’m pleased to say that’s exactly the case with Jon and Lucie’s Muskoka wedding photography gallery. We wish for you both (an Leo!) the most unique and wonderful marriage. You deserve it!

Stephanie and Rob’s The Symes wedding is one you can so easily fall in love with. They were able to put twists on classic traditions and mix themes and styles. The end result was a day that was so truly them!

Our dynamic duo had known each other for nine years before deciding to tie the knot. I could tell in our meetings together just how well they knew one another inside and out. Wedding planning was a breeze for them because they were always in total agreement with everything! Their relationship seems like a total dream to me.

A fun fact about Stephanie and Rob is that their siblings were actually the ones that introduced them. Because of their contribution to the happy couple’s love story, they had them in their wedding party, but with a twist! Rob’s sister was his “Best Woman” and Stephanie’s brother was her “Man of Honour”. We love a couple that breaks the mold. This was a super sweet touch that perfected their wedding and made it very Stephanie and Rob.

One of the main things Rob and Stephanie wanted to focus on at their The Symes wedding was the food. The two of them are total foodies. Rob even works in the food industry! They love trying out new restaurants, dishes, and cuisines together in the spare time (so cute!). Because good food and good company are such large parts of their lives, they wanted their wedding to reflect that. So, naturally, they had their show-stopping catering done by Food Dudes. Their reception menu was super yummy and unique and got rave reviews from all their guests.

To bring the vision of their wedding together they enlisted the help of superstar vendors Frank Cugliaria and Kaas Floral Design. Frank assisted in planning from the very beginning and helped to make it one of the smoothest days I’ve ever been a part of. Focusing on greenery rather than flowers, Kaas Floral Design brought their A-Game. They were able to transform They Symes’ industrial, open space into an intimate feeling forest. The decked-out indoor reception venue was a perfect complement to the gorgeous scenery of their foresty couple portraits.

Because their reception and ceremony were in the same space, we decided to mix it up and add an outdoor location. And if you think the pictures couldn’t get any cooler, check out their sweet ride. With a colour palette that leaned towards more neutral natural, it was super fun to throw in a bright red classic car to make this portion of their wedding gallery POP! Rob and Stephanie took riding in style to a whole new level. They were both complete naturals in front of the camera and weren’t afraid to show emotion. Nothing’s better than getting to capture the pure joy of your couples’ faces as they revel in newly married love. I could shed a tear!

We already knew that Stephanie and Rob wanted their guests’ experience to be the highlight of their wedding at the Symes, but they took it to whole other level! They originally fell in love with The Symes because of its rustic, industrial charm. They then jumped at the chance to have it as their venue because of its lofty upstairs, which they turned into a comfy lounge for their guests to chill in throughout the night. They really made sure to think about their guests throughout every step of planning.

Having previously shot one of Rob’s groomsmen’s wedding, we knew were in good company with Stephanie and him. I’ll still be dreaming of their reception food and lounge area for weeks to come. We are so happy for you guys and are so thankful to have been a part of your day. Nine years down, forever to go. ENJOY!

Modern Steampunk is definitely not a theme that you come across very often, but we’re so glad that we got to witness it at Solange and Cheryl’s beautiful mansion wedding.

Let me start by saying that we knew it’s going to be great the moment these two stepped into our studio. Honestly, Solange and Cheryl are one of the most special #MANGOcouples and we all love them very much. Easy going, down to earth and just an absolute pleasure to be around, they have this amazing, dynamic energy that we immediately fell in love with. When we asked them what brought them to our studio they said they were impressed by our portfolio and loved the balance between the editorial “magazine” look and the candid moments. Bonus point? Solange is Jamaican, and our name reminded her of home! 😉 An instant match right here!

After both being married before, these brides wanted to do something a little different. They crafted a formal steampunk theme, and based on a “no outdoor shoes” venue restriction, coined their mansion wedding a “shoeless chic event”. How cool is that?

By nature, Steampunk is very intricate and detailed in every aspect, and Solange and Cheryl were able to utilize that to their advantage with their wedding theme. In our early meetings, they said: “We want to have [our guests] experience something so elegant, unique, fun and love-filled that they will not only feel special, they will also be so blown away that they will talk about it for a long time.” Their florist Hunter and Gather and the stationery designers, Simply Sealed, captured every essence of formal, modern steampunk. Keys, feathers, and clocks were big symbols to them and their theme, so we were sure to capture every little piece.  Lustre Events coordinated it all and had an amazing team of vendors to make the day a possibility. The lightbulb drink glasses were a favourite of mine! So unique and quirky, just like our brides.

When it came to wedding dresses, Solange and Cheryl both wore the most gorgeous designs by Xscape & Oleg Cassini. They knew they didn’t want to be too matchy, so Solange went with a darker colour dress. Their outfits and accessories were an expression of their own personalities but complemented each other in a way that solidly said: we’re together.

Our favourite part of the day? Well, apart from just hanging with these two during their creative session, we LOVED the way they set up their ceremony. A marriage is a union between two equal individuals and the circle symbolized just that. They also entered at the same time from the two opposite corners of the hall, which made for a pretty impressive walk down the aisle. The whole experience felt very inclusive and immersive, and we couldn’t help but shed a tear or two during their emotional vows.

June is Pride Month and we are so excited to be able to share this wedding with everyone in the celebration of LOVE. Thank you deeply to Solange and Cheryl for being wonderful muses, teachers, and leaders. I don’t know the next time I’ll be dancing barefoot at a mansion wedding, so this will be one to remember. We’re all head over heels with your contagious laughter, cheerful spirit and kind hearts. You are true rock stars.

Mango Studios was super excited to work with Francesca and Francesco at their Arlington Estate Wedding. We previously shot their engagement session and some of their friends’ weddings as well. Both times, photographing these two was an absolute dream because of their undeniable chemistry. And with the names Francesca and Francesco, you know they’re a match made in heaven 😉

Setting the tone for your wedding with your photographer is very important. It can be the make or break of the successful execution of your wedding day photography. Communication from the beginning is always key for us at Mango Studios. Our wonderful couple made it very clear to us that they are super family-oriented – and we love that! Francesca said it perfectly “We want everyone to feel how much love we have for each other and for every guest invited”. Wedding words to live by! This goal definitely wasn’t hard for them to accomplish at their Arlington Estate wedding. Their day was full of love, thankfulness, and fun.

Speaking of fun, it must be noted that Francesca’s bridal party was a total joy to photograph. If you’re thinking of skipping over getting ready pictures: DON’T! Documenting the process of getting ready in the morning is a great way to look back at a piece of your day that will fly by. Enjoy the moment with your closest friends and family, but don’t be afraid of letting your photographer in on it too. Francesca’s day wouldn’t have been complete without her bridesmaids, or her other girls: her vendors! Francesa was very clear of what she wanted her Arlington Estate wedding to be. She and Francesco told us from the beginning “Our ideal day is stress-free and effortlessly fun for everyone”. This wish definitely came true with the expert help of Simply Sienna’s planning services and florals courtesy and of Fleurimsa by Angie. Nothing makes your day more effortlessly fun than a good group of #girlbosses.

On the Big Day, Francesa was a total stunner in her gown by Lee Petra Grebenau. No wonder Francesco had to catch his breath when he first saw her (THE sweetest moment to capture!). The low-dipping neckline and sides of the dress were details that we knew we had to feature prominently in her bridal portraits. The trees at Kortright Centre were the perfect natural, clean lines to compliment her natural beauty and the structural detail on her gown. Though, the sparkles on her dress were no match for the sparkle she had in her eye every time Francesco was by her side. Swoon!

Francesco and Francesca wanted to showcase their love for their family and friends but were also thoroughly inspired by their own love for each other and all things new. From road trips to cooking and spending time outdoors together, these two are inseparable. Capturing that love for them was an absolute honor. Photographing weddings is just bottling up all of that passionate, lovey emotion into an image. Then, giving those images to your couples to hold onto forever. Francesco and Francesca, here’s to you, and many more years of traveling and trying new things together. Congratulations!

Stephanie and Shane’s classic country barn wedding had all of us at Mango Studios talking for months. After the job she did on her wedding, I’m seriously considering hiring Stephanie to plan and style my entire life.

Stephanie and Shane are no newbies when it comes to Mango Studios. We’re basically a part of their family. Well, after photographing Stephanie’s alpaca filled bridal shower and her brother’s wedding, it sure we felt like we were!

I can’t think of anything more ideal for this down-to-earth couple than to have a classic, earthy barn wedding. Stephanie and Shane are so loving and funny, and they brought every aspect of their personality into their wedding day.

Most people don’t realize how much work goes into having a barn wedding at a personal residence. Most venues these days have everything you need built in. That is usually not the case when you use a personal residence for an event. So, Stephanie went the extra mile with her planning and styling, and we wouldn’t expect anything less! Her handpicked vendors Simply Beautiful Decor and Forever Wildfield were able to ace exactly what she wanted. Stephanie poured her entire heart and soul into making this the barn wedding of her dreams. Sometimes if you want to do it right, you’ve got to do it yourself! With the help of month-of-coordinator, Laura Olsen, Stephanie was able to fully realize her vision. And lucky us, we got to photograph all of the beauty We love a woman who knows what she wants.  What Stephanie wanted was a picture-perfect barn wedding to go with her picture-perfect man, and that’s what she got! Shane and Mango Studios aren’t the only big fans of Stephanie’s. Laurie Olsen gushed to us that “…Steph had such a strong vision of what she wanted her day to look like and worked tirelessly to make it come to life. I was so honored that she asked me to assist with design consulting.”

Working with Stephanie and Shane to document their barn wedding was a special experience. This dynamic duo really incorporated us into their day. We didn’t feel like “just another vendor” for them, and that made all the difference for us. It’s not enough for a couple to love a photographer, the photographer needs to really love their couple too. There is definitely no question about our love for Stephanie and Shane, and that’s the key to great wedding photography. If there isn’t love and trust behind these scenes, it won’t show up on the camera. And as you can see from this gallery, there was no lack of love at this barn wedding.

One of my favourite aspects of this barn wedding was how Stephanie and Shane utilized the grounds’ outdoor spaces. The cathedral of trees they were married under created the most magical ceremony space. Stephanie brought in church pews to use for seating at the outdoor ceremony, which gave the nuptials a traditional twist while still being cool and contemporary. We love the blend of styles used throughout the spaces of their wedding. It lends to a dynamic variety within their gallery and made their day that much more unique. Every aspect of their barn wedding showcased their one-of-a-kind personalities. We simply couldn’t get enough!

Shane and Stephanie, if your future is as thought out and intricate as your barn wedding, you’re set for life! We wish you two so much fun and love in your marriage. Thank you deeply for letting us document your story and making us family. We can’t wait to photograph more of your milestones in the future.

When your life is like a movie, your wedding better live up to the same standards, and Sharon and Danny’s Graydon Hall Manor wedding definitely hit the mark.

In a story straight from a fairytale, Sharon and Danny tied the knot at their Graydon Hall Manor wedding after Sharon left her life in NYC for her Prince Charming in Toronto. Is anything more romantic than moving hours and hours away to be with your one true love? I don’t think so! Sharon and Danny’s love story inspired the romantic and timeless shooting style of their big day, and it couldn’t have worked more perfectly!

With such an emotional and a raw wedding like Sharon and Danny’s, it’s super important that the stylization of the wedding photography does not distract from these special moments, but slightly enhances and showcases it timelessly. The deep emotion in Sharon and Danny’s love story was a significant indicator that their wedding would be no less than the same, so we planned to capture every intimate moment possible. To make these moments successful from a photography standpoint, we made sure to utilize all of the amazing natural light that poured in from the windows throughout the Manor, and that was available to us during their romantic outdoor ceremony. Too much artificial lighting would have distracted from the genuine, candid moments that poured in throughout their wedding festivities. In our preliminary conversations with Sharon and Danny,  it was clear that the emotion, passion, and love was REAL, and we wanted to make sure that the same feeling emanated throughout their wedding gallery.

Sharon and Danny didn’t want any stuffy posing or too calculated of shots, so we agreed to keep it off the cusp and very candid, which was so perfect for them and the raw emotions in their intimate pre-wedding ceremony where they exchanged their vows in front of their closest family. There literally was not a dry eye in the place, myself included.

You may think that an overcast day like the day of Sharon and Danny’s nuptials would be a downer, but it was the perfect natural lighting setup for the Graydon Hall Manor wedding to work with the Mango Studios photography style. The light grey and brown brick and supple white interiors of the Manor worked as diffusion along with the overcast skies to even the lighting throughout the day, and let us play with accenting our compositions with the luxurious golds and soft pinks of the decor and flowers.

With a colour palette of gold, green, blush, and white (of course!), Sharon and Danny’s vendors were able to bring in florals and accessories to emphasize, but not take away from, the natural elegance and beauty of the Graydon Hall Manor. Flower 597 nailed it with Sharon’s breathtaking bridal bouquet. The custom arrangements for the bride and groom worked so well and matched each other perfectly, just like Sharon and Danny’s puzzle piece personalities, they complimented each other in the most poetic way.

Something super fun that I love to do at events like this Graydon Hall Manor wedding is to let the architecture be its own character in the story of the day. I mean, how can you not when your couples pick such gorgeous venues? I really enjoyed incorporating the clean, classic lines of the Manor’s garden walls and walkways in the framing and composition of our bride/groom portraits. Distance was such a massive hurdle that Sharon and Danny had to overcome to make their relationship work, and I loved letting the carefully placed stones of the walls indirectly tell that story.

It was such a joy to be apart of Sharon and Danny’s love story. The trials and tribulations of their relationship did nothing to lessen the intensity and honesty of their love, and all of us at Mango Studios wish them well on the rest of their journey together, wherever in the world it may lead them!

One of my favourite things about weddings is how different all of them are. It’s so much fun to see how a couple can orchestrate an event that completely reflects their style and taste. Sometimes, even just hearing about which venue a couple has decided to go with for their celebration can tell you a lot about the couple themselves. After meeting Vanessa and Kevin at their engagement session, I knew their wedding was going to be just like them: elegant and chic. These two lovebirds are one of the most modern and fashionable couples that I’ve met. I knew their One King West wedding was going to be everything above and beyond! Having a wedding at One King West always means a wedding with timeless elegance and lots of class.  I knew that the wedding would be glamorous, but I couldn’t have predicted all the fun surprises they had in store!

Some of my favourite shots from the morning are the bride’s portraits out on the balcony. The balcony is on the 15th floor of the hotel. It allows for a killer backdrop of the Toronto financial district and always has terrific light! On this particular morning, the wind picked up a bit, and we shot some bridal portraits with an editorial feel; Vanessa’s veil billowed in the wind as I captured some fresh angles. One of the images we shot this morning even ended up in an ad for One King West Weddings!

Just a short stroll from One King West is Osgoode Hall. Osgoode Hall is a fantastic spot for a downtown creative session thanks to its timeless architecture. For our first look, I wanted to up the drama; I did this by taking advantage of the harsh light and had Kevin waiting in one of the archways for Vanessa’s arrival. As Vanessa started walking towards Kevin, I stayed behind to capture their first embrace. I love the photojournalistic quality of these images! We then tucked inside the archway to capture portraits with soft, traditional light quality.

Osgoode Hall provides so much variety when it comes to great photos! I always find terrific options, no matter the time of day. It is surrounded by a park with plenty of space for images that show a ton of greenery, which is rare in the middle of the city! We headed over to the greenspace for some fun photos with balloons and smoke bombs; what a fantastic way to add something playful to our super-elegant creative session! I got really into these smoke bombs and loved playing around to create cool compositions. We all had so much fun! But more importantly, Vanessa and Kevin ended up with a huge variety of beautiful images.

As expected, Vanessa and Kevin’s One King West wedding reception was extremely elegant. Thanks to Diana from Yours Truly Planning and the team at Covers Couture, One King West’s Grand Banking Hall was a total vision. With a palette of blush, white and sandstone, and all the candles lit, the mood was set. You could feel the romance as Vanessa and Kevin had their first dance. However, they didn’t waste any time getting the party started. Nope! Right as their first dance came to a close, Shawn Desman came out! Yes, you heard me correctly. None other than Canada’s favourite pop/hip hop artist. Like I said earlier, Vanessa and Kevin’s day was full of fun surprises!

What inspired Vanessa and Kevin the most for their One King West wedding was just the love they have for each other. Beyond all the glitz and glam, these two were just very happy to get married surrounded by all their favourite people. And at Mango Studios, we couldn’t be happier for them! Vanessa and Kevin, I hope your wedding was everything you dreamed it to be.
